Unfortunately as of 1 March 2018, it is no longer possible to purchase a 3-year SSL certificate from a Certificate Authority. The maximum validity of any SSL certificate is now 2 years. This change was enforced by the CA/B Forum, which is a global regulatory body governing rules of SSL certificates.
